The facilities of hot water and heating at present include meters that offer the possibility of communicating by M-Bus. Energy companies demand a product which allows automatic reading of these meters avoiding the costly task of a man moving from one building to another throughout the national territory for a manual reading.
Our meter reading devices are able to read entire installations of up to 250 meters, and send the data automatically through GPRS, or Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
This system saves travel costs and eliminates the possibility of human error in the readings.
The device is easily configurable from a computer through USB thanks to our free software. You would configure the device comfortably in your office if you want, since no externalpower is required for this task (it is self-powered by USB).
Some of our clients had an specific need: display information about the environment such as temperature, humidity and CO2 along with advertisement, news, etc. In other words, a very varied information to the people.
We developed a product capable of communicating with all the required parts to gather all the necessary information to be displayed, which was integrated with CAN, RS-232 and RS-485 communications protocols.
These devices are configured from a web interface of management and administration, which allows you to pick the relevant information and the further extra contents that you wish.
Each device is updated by Ethernet, individually and automatically against the server, every time the administrator modifies its contents, keeping itself always updated.
Alarm notifications must be addressed immediately. In particular, fire alarm cases detected by a fire central must be communicated in real time, to act without delay.
Our device IOControl fully meets these needs, you just have to connect to the central and configure it to act when the activation of one of its digital inputs is detected.
When the alarm central activates an input in the device IOControl, it begins a calls cycle to a pre-configured list of numbers.
To ensure that the customer is notified, the calls are made to the entire phone list cyclically, until one of them responds.
At the end of the calls process, it sends an SMS with the full report of the incident to the company's Security Center
There are clients of Trend Controls (Honeywell Group) who must often install devices whose communication protocol is not compatible with the TREND system itself. They require a solution to centralize all the information coming from these devices.
In 2008, Modemsys© was selected as Trend Interface Specialist (TIS). Since then, we have developed many software integrations with the IQ3xcite in order to interconnect this device with other third party devices used by our clients.
There have been developed numerous software integrations, in different communication protocols such as Modbus-RTU, Modbus-TCP, MBus, G50, etc. and even in some cases it has been designed customized hardware (gateways) to attend special needs.
